Description
PhotoBotanic Extractions are botanic illustrations taken directly from the garden. Unlike traditional botanic illustrations where the artist might piece together sketches and work in a studio, these are completely real. I use a variety of techniques, as explained in the Plants Illustrated section of the Learning Center, to achieve depth of field and separation of the image from its background.
The Extraction series is limited to 5 signed 20 x 30 Giclée prints for $2000. They are printed on oversize archival watercolor paper. Reproductions are available through Fine Art America in various sizes and framing choices.
