I have always wanted to go to a destination workshop.  Now my friend and colleague David Perry has organized one in Seattle.

I get to join him at Albers Vista Gardens on July 11 and we fully expect to have as much fun as our students.  Here is the link to workshop including information on ferries and local hotels.

A destination workshop is any where the location is as important as the instructor, a place a photographer would want to go and just needs an excuse.   The Albers Vista Gardens in Bremerton (outside Seattle) are the inspiration for the new book The Northwest Garden Manifesto and offer 15 different gardens to inspire us. We already have students traveling from New York, Georgia, and California.  Come join us. Suggestions welcome for other destinations you would like to go – it just may inspire future workshops.
