For many years I have been the sole photographer for the annual “Inspired Flowers & Gardens” calendar from True Image Publishing. True Image is a niche publisher for business promotions and produces a series scenic calendars that business buy in bulk, imprinted with their business information, to give away to customers.

I will say, I am always a bit disappointed when I see them in print. True Image does a good job considering these are not high-end, heavy weight calendars printed in Italy, but they certainly don’t look like the images in my on-line gallery. Any photo will look better on a backlit computer screen so I have learned to accept the compromises of business publishing, and be grateful my photos are seen by a wide audience.
